Moderne tijden breken aan met de Super A. Niet alleen met diafragma voorkeuze maar ook met sluitertijd voorkeuze
fotograferen. Op de SMC-A objectieven zit op de diafragmaring een a-stand. Als je daar voor kiest, stel je op de body
de sluitertijd in. De camera kiest dan het bijpassende diafragma voor een juiste belichting.
DE camera kan natuurlijk ook nog helemaal met de hand worden ingeregeld. Je krijgt dan wel een indicatie in de zoeker
of de belichting juist is of niet. Pentax noemt dit Metered Manual.
Zonder batterijen doe je niet veel met deze camera. Je kunt dan alleen op sluitertijd 1/125 werken
en je zult zelf het diafragma op de lens moeten instellen.
Pentax is op enig moment afgestapt van het in de handleiding vermelden van een ' standaard objectief'.
Deze camera is geleverd met dit A 1:2 / 50 mm objectief.
De body doet het (bijna) perfect. Alleen de opname teller werkt niet.
Uiterlijk zijn slechts kleine gebruiksporen te zien. Van binnen is ie super schoon.
